Okay, not my norm. But when I drew this, I wasn’t normal! I got the resource for this pastel from a little tiny black and white picture in the Rolling Stone mag (I own this pastel and any prints I sell, are not for profit…the joys of working off other people’s work). I did this purely for FUN! I saw the pic in the mag and just loved his expression and thought I might try going a little more wild than my “norm”. I got out all kinds of weird colors and put on some loud reggae and proceeded to make up and get crazy with my colors since I had no color resource…and really not much of a pic. I like how this turned out. I like the highlights, especially the yellow (that you can see better in person) in his hair. Just good fun!
