So the marks are put around the words “tile work” because this is 100% paint.  Not real tile.  Several years ago I worked in a set dept. that did all kinds of sets for plays, movies, events and industries.  The joke when i worked there was the bossman would hand us a piece of wood [...]

AVEDA MURAL This mural is a relatively small mural, done in the massage/therapy room of the Prescott AZ Aveda salon.  I wasn’t going to do a “painting progression” on it, but I learned some cool stuff, so here goes: I had 3 problems dealing with the space and colors requested and subject matter.  This is [...]

Julie was selected by the Grand Canyon Association to be their first South Rim Artist in Residence, a program that had been going on for several years on the North rim and other National Parks, but only recently started on the South. She selected as the sight of her mural the Shrine of the [...]

This European countryside mural was done out by Red Mountain in a beautiful castle-like stone home.  This is in the front room behind the most beautiful piano I’ve ever seen (or played!).

LEARJET MURAL    Look at the tiny light switch on the left to get an idea of the size of this mural.  This jet was photographed while it was on the ground from a high vantage point to get the angle, then superimposed with a few tricks for realism, over some clouds I photographed on [...]

The mural was to be installed about 6′ up in a giant hole in the wall of a very large trophy room.  The bottom half of the mural is an underwater scene, and the top part [...]

This townscape was done in a woman’s kitchen behind her dining room table.  Several elements from the kitchen were incorporated into the mural. The table and chairs of course, their name on the cafe, her bike, flowers, the color palate and other things to make this the ultimate custom mural!

Y This is one part of a wall of 3 for a small mural I did for a women’s/children’s homeless shelter clinic for Phoenix Children’s Hospital.  I love those guys because they saved the life not once but twice of my husband’s sweet son Scott.  Our family will always be grateful to them for what [...]

l This first mural was one I did on my own house.  My daughter and I were out digging up the latest crop of burned plants we had attempted to plant in hellish Phoenix.  Sweet Katie said  in her cute little voice, “you know Mommy, we can’t grow them, but we CAN paint them!”…an idea [...]

The images for these murals were before the age of digital.  I wish I’d taken more pics of the work I did, but just wasn’t thinking!  I did manage a few photos though.  Here’s a few! This one was quite awesome to do!  It’s done with CANS OF SPRAY PAINT, plus a power sprayer for [...]
